I have spent 20 years using digital marketing to drive profitable business growth for all types of organizations; from start ups to Fortune 500 companies.
I founded iMarketing based on a love for "internet marketing" and helping people. What started out as consulting work quickly turned into an agency. Our focus was ALWAYS on ROI. Digital was new and very much like the Wild West at the time. I was not concerned with shiny objects and had the ability to quickly digest information, sift through jargon, and determine if there were true opportunities for our clients.
I was fortunate to surround myself with people who shared my vision for always having the clients best interests at the forefront and operating with respect and complete transparency.
We started out doing media buys and building affiliate programs (this was before Google existed). We expanded our capabilities as new platforms were born. Our philosophy was to either be there at the beginning or hire the best established performer in the market.
We earned the trust of clients ranging from Yahoo! and The Wall Street Journal to VC backed start ups. We knew every day we had to earn the right to service them and we experienced tremendous client retention rates.
In 2013 Mercury Media acquired iMarketing, to create the largest privately held performance agency offering advertisers customer acquisition services across TV and Digital. I was responsible for all things digital as well as serving as part of the executive team.
During my tenure I was also a member of the Board of Directors.
We successfully integrated digital and TV campaigns for many of our clients through a unified focus on performance, attribution methodology, and clear and concise reporting on all KPIs.
I led with a focus on delivering new clients and new services as those are the lifeblood of any agency.
I prioritized attracting, hiring, and retaining the best talent possible and we were quite successful in that regards with a well above industry average employee retention rate.
The digital division delivered double digit growth YoY through new business wins and organic client development.
While leading the division I expanded our service offerings to meet the needs of current and prospective clients. Those expansions included development of e-commerce solutions, social media (community and advertising), and advanced analytics with multi-touch attribution.
I believe results are measured in numbers and not words.
I truly believe that when you love what you do, you are never really working.
